A gift from nature, many layers of deep luster on shells have slowly nurtured over time in the peaceful Okinawan ocean. At atelier located in Hamahiga island, known as “the island of gods”, we bring life to nature's gift.

The nacreous layers nurtured within a rugged shell over a long period gives deep luster, something we pursue. It is fascinatingly beautiful and has a delicate radiance that varies depending on the angle of light and our state of mind. We know you’ll enjoy wearing it every day while feeling its rich and sensitive expressions.
YUYU
Like young, budding leaves and fiery sunset, all of the emotional colors of nature always let us realize the powerful energy of the earth. Just like the precious blue ocean of Okinawa or green plants gently swaying in a sea breeze, the unique colors of each shell will touch your heart and stir your inner natural soul, invoking the natural beauty of our wonderful island.

You can see their history in each layer. As if flowing in a stream, the graceful curves tell you their tale of their long life from ocean to beautiful work of art. Just like ourselves, their different expressions show that each shell has had a unique story. Every piece is as unique as the next and can be chosen to suit anyone’s own personal tastes.

Each naturally made item can be enjoyed with touch and sight to give a perfectly organic response. We value and respect the innate qualities of each shell and try to keep their natural features as they are.
